Kori is the principal designer and owner of Horizon Interior Design. She graduated from Oakland University in 1998 with a Master in Physical Therapy, and enjoyed a successful career as a therapist. Many of her years as a PT were spent servicing patients who were home-bound, and she found it intriguing to see the environments in which her clients lived.
She grew a passion for interiors over the years, not only to make homes safer for her patients, but more comfortable and beautiful. She received a degree from the Interior Design program at Baker College, and opened the doors of Horizon Interior Design in 2015. She was inspired by a quote from Maya Angelou: “The Horizon leans forward, offering you space to place new steps of change.” Kori truly enjoys helping her clients take the steps to change their houses into homes they love to live in.
She’s excited to create spaces that marry form and function, are beautiful, and meet the needs of each client. Kori enjoys living in Rochester with her husband and two sons, attending their sporting events, dancing, loves riding her bike and snuggling with her three cats.
